ZenFlow Lab

Founding statement

Every person deserves a calm mind.

Effective 3 November 2026

Why we began

Stress, loneliness and anxiety are shared by people in every country and in every language. Yet much of what helps — a song that steadies the breath, a story that makes us feel understood, a tradition that offers comfort — remains scattered, untested and locked behind borders of language and culture.

ZenFlow Lab was founded to gather this knowledge and study it openly. We combine technology with careful research to understand how sound, voice, stories and culture can help people feel calmer, and we share what we learn — our methods, our results and our limits — freely with everyone.

We believe knowledge grows when it is shared. We invite researchers, practitioners and anyone with lived experience to learn together across borders and languages, so that better knowledge can make everyday life a little happier for all of humanity.

Mission

To research, and openly share, knowledge and experiences that help people around the world feel calmer and live happier everyday lives.

Vision

A world where anyone, in any language, can find trustworthy knowledge that eases the mind.

Values

What we do

How we are organized

ZenFlow Lab is operated by ZenFlow (Korea), which provides its staff, infrastructure and funding. The Lab Director is responsible for the research agenda, ethics and publication decisions.

We plan to form an Advisory Circle. We invite independent researchers, clinicians and community members to review our ethics, methods and priorities. Changes to our policies are published with their dates, and we will publish an annual report on our research, participation, funding and corrections.

Independence and conflicts of interest

ZenFlow also offers commercial music and personality services. To keep our research trustworthy:

Funding

ZenFlow Lab is currently funded entirely by ZenFlow. We receive no external grants, sponsorship or advertising income. Any future funding will be listed here with its source.
